Getting started

To begin, log in to HRISMyWay as the administrator user.

HRISMyWay Home

After you log in, the HRISMyWay Home page appears. The home page contains various information panes. As the administrator, you can configure the panes employees see when they log in by selecting in the top right corner. Panes include:

  • Employee Celebrations: If staff have entered their birth dates on their profiles and made them visible, their birthdays (without the year) appear in this pane. Anniversary dates also appear here.
  • Open Timesheet: Employees' open timesheets appear in this pane. They can select the calendar icon to go to the time entry page.
  • Entitlement: Employees' earned entitlements appear in this pane. They can select the calculator icon to estimate their future earned time off at a certain date.
  • Alerts: If employees have rejected timesheets or leave requests, expiring HR documents, or forms to submit, alerts appear in this pane.
  • Who's Out: This pane shows who in the department is away today. Employees can select the clock icon to request time off or select the calendar icon to view a full calendar of who is away and any statutory holidays.
  • Payments: The dates an employee has been paid appear in this pane. If a PDF pay slip is available, they can select View.
  • Approvals: This pane appears for approvers. Approvers can approve or reject timesheets, HR items, and leave requests directly from this pane.

Navigation

There are two menus you can access from any location in HRISMyWay.

Open the top right menu by selecting your profile image in the top right corner. Options in this menu include:

  • HRISMyWay Home: Returns you to the home page.

  • My Profile: Allows employees to edit their profile.

  • Online Help: Opens the HRISMyWay online help website.
  • Release Notes: Directs you to information about recent changes to HRISMyWay.
  • Sign Out: Signs you out of HRISMyWay.

Open the main menu by selecting in the top left corner. The main menu displays all available modules based on the module licences your municipality has purchased. Use this menu to navigate through HRISMyWay.
