Self Service module
If your municipality has purchased the Self Service module, you can select Self Service from the main menu and access the following pages from the left navigation pane:
- Dashboard: Displays your current earned balances for each banked pay code, such as banked time, sick time, and vacation time.
-
Payments: Displays payment history by year.
- For each payment row, the Electronic Stub column indicates whether a PDF pay slip is available to view. Pay slips may be available if they were created during the payroll process in iCity using the standard method, which involves using the supported options in Print Deposit Slips (Standard) (PA4090AC).
- If a pay slip is available, select View to open it as a PDF in a new browser tab. The pay slip appears successfully as long as it has not been removed from the iCity database since the last synchronization.
- If any payment history entries appear to be incorrect, contact your payroll administrator. They can review your payment history in the iCity program Employee Inquiry & Maintenance (PA1010) by selecting the Inquiry tab and then Payment History.
-
Bank Balances: Displays detailed information about each of your time banks.
- Each row shows a summary of earned time, used time, and the balance.
- Expand a row by selecting
in the Accrual Class column for additional details.
-
T4s: Displays available T4s by year.
-
T4s appear if they were saved to the iCity database using the Save T4 to History option in T4 Printing (PA5330). For access to a T4 that does not appear, contact your payroll administrator to request that they save the T4 to the iCity database using the method above. The saved T4 will appear in HRISMyWay after the next synchronization.
- If you see more than one T4 for the same year, check the EI Level column. If more than one value appears, then your municipality remits the employer portion of EI premiums at more than one rate. This requires multiple CRA payroll program account numbers and results in multiple T4s. For more information, contact your payroll administrator.
-
To view a T4, follow these steps:
-
Select View. The Security Verification window appears. To comply with security and privacy laws, HRISMyWay requires security verification each time you view a T4.
- Select Email Verification Code. A field for entering the verification code appears and a verification code sends by email. This email typically is received within ten minutes.
- Enter the verification code.
- Select Verify. If the code is valid, the T4 opens in a separate browser tab.
