Managing time off requests

To review and manage time off requests you already entered, follow these steps: 

  1. In the Time Off module, open the Time Off Details page using either method below:

    • On the Requests pane, select My Requests.
    • In the left navigation pane, select Time Off Details.
  2. Select the Requests tab. This tab displays requests that have been submitted, requests that have been approved, and requests that have been cancelled after approval. Time stamp data is also available which shows the date and time when submissions or cancellations occurred.

    Note:  The features that allow you to view requests that have been cancelled after approval and to see timestamp data were released in October 2020. This data does not appear for historical requests submitted or cancelled prior to the addition of these features.

  3. On the request you want to manage, select an option from the Actions column:

    • Edit Request: You can use this option to edit a leave request that is either waiting for approval or is already approved. If you edit an approved request, HRISMyWay cancels the original request and enters a new request, but retains the original request submission date.
    • Cancel Request: You can use this option to cancel a leave request that is either waiting for approval or is already approved.
    • If you cancel a request that is waiting for approval, the request is removed from the list.
    • If you cancel a request that is already approved, it remains in the list, and the date the request was cancelled is shown.
    • If your payroll administrator already transferred your approved time off request to iCity, you cannot cancel the request.
